Album Name: St. Maria Goretti Gift to Santa Maria de Jesus Return to Albums
Album Date: Jun 1, 2009
Description: St. Maria Goretti School in Madison (WI) raised $5437.01 for the Santa Maria de Jesus Orphanage in Guatemala. During the school year, 1st graders, with parental assistance, practiced their counting skills. Bake sales and coin drops were all part of the fundraising process. Generous classes were rewarded with "Jeans Days." The Orphan Train and Rotary Club of Madison West Towne-Middleton will apply for a matching grant from RI to create a media center for the orphanage.
